Sunday, September 25th – Great River Train Station Area, from 9 am to 11 am. Clean-up of area around the Great River Train Station. Hawthorne Avenue, Connetquot Avenue and Union Blvd. Meet at the Great River Train Station. Sign up here.

Saturday, October 15th – International Coastal Cleanup – Brook Street, Islip from 9:30 am to 11 am. Brook Street is home to a protected wetlands area. Volunteers are needed to pick up litter that has accumulated along the street curbs, in the wooded brush and by the water's edge.  Items collected will be logged for research by the Ocean Conservancy. Sunday, October 16th – Commack Road Area of Spur Drive South – from 9 am to 11 am. Bill R is ready to lead a cleanup of the area located on Spur Drive South from Broadway to Saxon Ave. in the town of Islip.  Meet at the Commack Road Park. Sign up here.

Sunday, October 23rd – International Coastal Cleanup – Orowoc Creek Wetlands Cleanup – from 9 am to 11 am. Bill R is leading a cleanup of Moffit Blvd over Orowoc Creek and Buffalo Ave by wetland area that leads to creek.  This is a sensitive wetlands area as all creeks lead to the Great South Bay.  Items will be pulled out of the creek to be inventoried and counted by volunteers.  Results are being reported to the Ocean Conservatory. Sunday, October 30th – Montauk Blvd. – Oakdale Cleanup – from 9 am to 11 am. This cleanup could use a large crew!  Project will target Montauk Blvd. on the east side of Oakdale-Bohemia Road.  It is a dead end street.  Lots of trash is located along the south side of the road to the dead end.  Meet in the parking lot on the north side of the Oakdale Train Station.
